Collection: Wild Mountain Child

Wild Mountain Child is now shutting down. The remaining pieces at Barefoot Potions are heirloom treasures to cherish, and may not return once sold out. If there is a favourite you have been hoping to add to your family's collection, this is a special opportunity to bring it home.

Discover nature-inspired wooden play tools for mud kitchens, potion making and sensory adventures. From leaf cups and treasure bowls to flower spoons, moon strainers and mushroom tools, these hand-carved designs bring the textures and shapes of the natural world into imaginative play.

The featured wooden tools are handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans, with individual variations in wood grain and carving that give each piece its own character. Scoop petals, stir make-believe brews, pour water and gather tiny treasures with keepsake pieces to enjoy through the seasons of childhood.

Check individual product pages for dimensions, materials, age suitability and safety instructions, and supervise play as appropriate. Care for wooden tools by avoiding prolonged soaking and dishwashers, drying after wet play, and following each item's oiling or waxing guidance.
